With over nine years of hands-on experience in enterprise project delivery, specializing in fintech consulting and BI-FinTech (Data & Business Intelligence in FinTech) solutions. As an aerospace engineer by training, I've navigated complex environments, from cloud migrations to data analytics overhauls, leading cross-functional teams of up to 20+ across Waterfall and Agile frameworks as a Workstream Lead/Agile Project Manager.
My journey has taken me through diverse roles in software services, product development, and SaaS implementations, working with global teams to deliver high-stakes projects in Azure Cloud, Power BI, and portfolio reporting. I've built custom tools like Cloud based BI dashboards that organizations pay $60k+ to replicate, all while fostering accountability through daily stand-ups and stakeholder alignment.
I launched The Deadly Consultant along with Hassan Hammer - my YouTube fitness channel - as a passion project to share practical insights from my grind, evolving it into a training academy that equips engineers, PMs, and pros for the AI-proof pivot. The truth is, tactical work is actively being automated away. I followed this trend with an interest in finding a suitable pivot.

Early Years and Education
Till 2013
I fixed computers. Laptop DC jack repairs was my specialty. I took pride in this hands-on work and I learnt almost any problem inside out, including reflowing BGA (ball grid array) chips. I could do repairs very quickly and had most laptop models memorized. I was more at home, disassembling, diagnosing and reassembling electronics than leading a crowd. Growing up, I gravitated toward subjects that demanded logic and precision, like physics and engineering, where every problem had a hidden structure waiting to be uncovered.
At Ryerson University, I earned my B.Eng. in Aerospace Engineering (Avionics Stream), diving deep into systems that blend human ingenuity with unyielding physics. It wasn't always easy, late nights in studies taught me that progress comes from relentless pursuit and repetition to uncover corner cases, not innate genius, and that you don't always get it the first try; but if you are persistent and systematic you can persevere. That quiet hunger for details still drives me: If a process breaks, I systematically hunt the root cause until it's fixed.
My other hobbies during this time were skateboarding and shore-based salmon fishing. Both taught that persistence pays. Whether it's practicing heel-flips 1,000+ times until you can stomp it perfectly at max height or counting 2,000 casts from the shore in hopes to land a 30lb salmon, there was an underlying lesson in persistence and repetition that stays with me to this day.
Working Years
Till 2023
I started in operations project coordination at Trapeze Software Group, quickly rising to Agile Project Manager roles, where I cut my teeth on transit ops implementations for clients like Miami-Dade Transit. By 2016, I was leading UAT testing and gap analyses, ensuring legacy systems transitioned without a hitch - all while tracking $25MM budgets and RAID logs in MS Project.
At Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS), I assisted in project delivery to upgraded resource management for 8,000 users+, coordinating with VPs and vendors to enforce SLAs and train team leads on CA-PPM. It was here I honed governance skills: Forecasting allocations, escalating risks, and turning data into actionable SteerCo decks insights.
From 2020 at Fundserv, I built cloud-based Power BI/MS Project tools for PMO forecasting, simulating 200+ resources on capacity vs demand needs. Then Morgan Stanley's PCTS cloud migration ($100MM over 10 years) - as Data Analytics PMO Scrum Master, I coached offshore teams on Power BI/SQL, facilitating ceremonies for BI deliverables while shielding sprints from distractions.
At Canada Life in 2023, as Workstream PM/Scrum Master, I drove $25MM health care reporting streams on Azure Databricks/Power BI, resolving anti-patterns in 20+ member teams and aligning with audits for on-time UAT.
These years weren't linear - they were a forge of failures and fixes, from rework escalations to vendor disputes, teaching me that true PM value lies in proactive pivots, not perfect plans, and that a PM proceeds relentlessly at removing obstacles, or connecting finding the right people who can, driving the project to conclusion by being of service to his team.
BI-FinTech Trainer - AI Proof Pivot
2023 Till Now
I believe proactive project management - fused with AI deployment domain expertise - can shield careers from AI automation's blade while unlocking premium pay in fintech's AI project's blue ocean. AI's murdering coders and legacy PMs: Vibe-coding tools flood the talent pool, automating front/back-ends in hours, GenAI PM tools nibble at tactical tasks like scheduling and reporting. McKinsey warns of 40% headcount cuts by 2030 but 50% more AI projects, creating 175 million new roles for AI Orchestration PMs. The aim is to assist the proactive in pivoting early to this structurally protected niche for +40% salary bumps. There is a silver lining in the shifting technology landscape.
After quitting a $17k/mo+ PM consulting gig (working remotely with ocean views, with my dream sports - Porsche 718 GTS manual - in tow), I took a two-month break in 2023 to crack this puzzle and poured all my resources into it, giving up the cushy lifestyle in pursuit.
Motivated to catalyze positive change in transformative times, I poured 2,500+ hours - 7/7 grinds, often sleeping under my desk - into the BI-FinTech Training Accelerator, a 90-day AI-Proof program blending my scars into actionable mastery through training prospects for BI-FinTech & AI Orchestration PM Consulting roles.

In March 2024, I launched The Deadly Consultant blog (thedeadlyconsultant.com) to document the AI-proof pivot - from AI vaporizing roles (losing your login overnight due to AI automating tactical tasks) to PM orchestration's rise. What began as raw notes has evolved into a community & training program.
The academy's my first scalable venture: Automated modules deliver the end-to-end material where students work through the program to earn 3 certifications (PMP, PSM, CPMAI), including job placement guidance, unlike any other solitary certification training on the market, which leave students connect the dots afterwards, often without a career pivot. I deliver using a group-coaching method, meeting with the students multiple times a week to answer questions ranging from certifications, to tools, to placement all while keeping a wealth of free content on the blog.
